About JW Flower

Hi, I'm Chloe Kim, the florist behind JW Flower.

My background is in fine art photography—I've been behind the camera since high school, studied it at university, and worked as a photographer in Korea, exhibiting my work in galleries including in New York.

When I moved to Sydney, I discovered floristry through TAFE's Certificate III program, and something clicked.

Working with flowers felt like an extension of what I'd always done: composing with light, colour, and form. Creating something that evokes emotion. Respecting natural beauty while shaping it into art.

After completing my floristry training, I worked part-time in wedding florals, learning the craft and honing my skills before opening JW Flower in 2019.

At JW Flower, we only work with premium, market-fresh flowers.

We purchase flowers after orders are confirmed—never keeping stock—so every arrangement is made with the freshest blooms available.

Each stem is carefully conditioned and hydrated in our coolroom, where the temperature is meticulously adjusted seasonally to ensure your flowers arrive at their absolute freshest and most beautiful.

I visit the markets each morning, selecting seasonal flowers and designing arrangements with the same artistic eye I once used behind the camera—natural, elegant, and crafted with care.
